St. Pancras Church

Coldred is small village, with a population of approximately 100.

Historically the village population engaged in agriculture, but now the village consists mainly of retired people.

Worship services take place some Sunday mornings, and once a month Evensong is held, we use Common Worship with its traditional language. Candlemass is celebrated and is part of the programme of Joint Parish services.

The village works together with the Friends of St Pancras to run the Church Fete, which is a valuable social event, with people attending from far and wide.

The church is on pilgrimage routes, including the Via Francigena. attracting many visitors from both pilgrim and history groups.

The church could not manage without the support of our community.
