Primary School Links

We work very closely with the Primary Schools in our village communities supporting them and offering ministry in a variety of ways; such as:

• Collective Worship and assemblies each week
• Regular visits to support the curriculum and help develop understanding of Christianity and faith in the world today
• Offer Church visits and services at key festival times during the year, and key moments in the life of the school (such as Year 6 leavers)
• Chaplaincy (a new initiative in 2020)
• Governing body membership

Our clergy team and other ministry team members and volunteers have built strong partnerships and relationships with the staff and pupils at schools across the Parish. As demands on teachers and staff increases we continually look for ways to develop these relationships and look for new ways to support the schools in our communities.
